Character and plot of Assassin’s Creed Mirage
It shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that the protagonist of Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be a well-known figure as the conclusion of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla indicated to a change in focus to a new protagonist.
- Eivor was originally introduced to the methods of the Assassins by Basim Ibn Is’haq early in the saga of Valhalla, and the two eventually crossed paths. The Mirage teaser depicts a teenage Basim robbing a market booth in Baghdad before running from security guards after being captured.
- Basim’s early life as a thief will be followed by AC Mirage, as well as his encounter with the Hidden Ones—an early form of the Assassins—and his development into an assassin.
- Roshan, the head of the Hidden Ones, is the other figure we’ve met. She chooses to take Basim on as her first real trainee. Compared to earlier games, the tale will be more linear and narrative-focused and will have a distinct beginning and finish.
But if you finished Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you’d know that not everything is as it appears.
