In the 9th century CE, Baghdad is at its height, ruling the world in knowledge, art, innovation, and trade. A disturbed teenage orphan with a sad past must navigate the city’s congested streets to survive there.
In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you take on the role of Basim, a cunning street thief with terrible visions who seeks justice. Basim departs Baghdad and enlists with a famous gang known as The Hidden Ones after carrying out a violent act of retribution. As he learns their cryptic ceremonies and potent teachings, he will develop his unique abilities, realize his true nature, and come to embrace a new Creed one that will change his fate in ways he could never have imagined.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be published in 2023 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store, and Luna, according to publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Bordeaux.

Basim was born in Samarra, but after losing his mother when he was a little boy, he was reared by himself in the streets of Baghdad. The Hidden Ones inspire Basim, and he aspires to be one of them.
After escaping a life of oppression, Roshan evolved into a brilliant assassin at the Hidden Ones’ stronghold of Alamut. Basim is now accepted as her first official apprentice by her.
Assassin’s Creed: Mirage
Aristocrat’s Creed In comparison to previous games in the series, Mirage is shorter and more focused on the story. It introduces players to Basim, a 17-year-old who suffers from nightmares and lives the life of a cunning street thief. Basim is now voiced by Lee Majdoub. Basim is lucky because the Hidden Ones recognize his potential and help him leave Baghdad for their stronghold in Alamut. His teacher Roshan, spoken by Shohreh Aghdashloo, is one of these Hidden Ones. As he learns their complex ceremonies and potent beliefs, he will acquire his unique abilities, discover his actual nature, and come to understand a new Creed. This Creed will reveal his actual nature to him and change his destiny in ways he never could have imagined.
When will Assassin’s Creed Mirage be released?
Assassin’s Creed Mirage doesn’t yet have a firm release date, although Ubisoft has said that they expect it will appear sometime in 2023. In addition to PC, Mirage will be playable when it comes on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One through Ubisoft Connect or the Epic Games Store.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage editions
Three Assassin’s Creed Mirage versions will be available upon launch. Priced at $50 or €50 for the Standard Edition, $60 or €60 for the Deluxe Edition, which includes Prince of Persia-themed DLC, and $150 or €150 for the Limited Collector’s Case, which includes a 32cm Basim figure, a map of Baghdad, a special steel book, and other extras. A “40 Thieves” side mission can only be accessed if you pre-order Assassin’s Creed Mirage straight immediately.
